Thread: Murder by stupid.

This remembers me of this short story where there is the flood and a man just doesn´t accept any help by others. When he´s dead and asks God why didn´t he help him, he only said : what was with those guys who tried to save you?

But this is just stupid. I just can´t sometimes grasp the differences in America : on the one side we have the most brilliant scientists and modern people, but on the other side we have people that pray for their KIDS who are ill and might die....
(okay, there are most likely such cases in other countries too, but you hear mostly about them in the USA...)

God gave us doctors for a reason...

I believe there was at least one other identical case.
I think it was something about cancer. Daughter had cancer and parents refused to do anything.
Oh well. I wonder if they actually believed she'd get better or if they subconsciently searched for a sign of existance from God, putting the life of their daughter on the line.

I reckon they were just too lazy to take her to the doctor. After she died they needed a convenient excuse so they chose religion.

if only life is that easy.... i need money so i just sit down and pray for it to drop from the sky.

Instead, an ambulance was only called once the girl had stopped breathing.

they should call the mourge instead of the ambulance....

What utter stupidity.

It's probably a blessing for the girl to die now rather than subjected to the parents' 'Let's leave it to god' attitude.

I was wondering to know that, may god bless the girl...........
