The stories of identical twins' nearly identical lives are often astonishing, but perhaps none more so than those of these identical twins born in Ohio. The twin boys were separated at birth, being adopted by different families. Unknown to each other, both families named the boys Jim. And here the coincidences just begun. Both James grew up not even knowing of the other, yet both sought law-enforcement training, both had abilities in mechanical drawing and carpentry, and each had married women named Linda. They both had sons whom one named James Alan and the other named James Allan. The twin brothers also divorced their wives and married other women - both named Betty. And they both owned dogs which they named Toy. Jim Lewis and Jim Springer finally met in February 9, 1979 after 39 years of being separated.
    And other wtf twin moments.

maybe...it is highly unlikely, but it'd be pretty awesome if it were true

If you got 10 Million Samples, then it's not that unlikely. Especially considering that twins are a lot more similar to each other than people with a different DNA.
But I would guess that the names thing was just random and not caused by being twins as opposed to studying the same thing, which is probably more likely with twins than with other people.

Well I believe names do affect your personality to a point. And it would make sense that twins would like the same type of girls. So there is a good chance of something like that happening, or at least a better chance than with normal siblings, etc.

I have two older brothers who are identical twins.

Similar: Face, Subjects taken in HS and Uni, Profession in the workforce, etc.

    Differences: Name, Temperament, etc.

In my opinion for the above story:

Twins can have similar thinking and more so when they live separately but their thinking can also differ with one other if one is more dominant than the other (one of my brother usually have the say-so when both are in discussion).

Because the Jim Brothers live separately, they can act upon their thinking individually without one stating otherwise.

    End.

My (non identical) twin brother and I are nothing alike, but considering the things I get up to, it's probably best he doesn't share my life. lol
