The State of Our Malls.
Was thinking about this while looking at the thread about circuit city. Anyone been to they're mall lately? I went to mine yesterday and I was in for a bit of a surprise. Radioshack - closed, walden books - closed, 2 out of the 6 jewlery stores were closed with two of the others having going out of business sales.
And every other store is having crazy sales because they cant move merch. I know i shouldnt be happy about the state of the economy, but its just so hard for me to not be. Seeing as my job is stable, in fact its been getting busier lately since no one can afford to eat anything other then McDonalds these days. I walked into fye, a store i usually dont touch because its just a pricier version of best buy and walked out with 2 seasons of south park and 2 of the simpsons, all originally marked for $50 each for 50 dollars combined.
I wont even get into the amount of clothes i've been buying (70-80% off WTF?)
That being said, who else is guiltily enjoying the downward spiral we call the economy?
No spending it, is needed. You just did you duty as a American.
