The Twilight saga, the book
As it turns out, there are no sub forums for books, thus I have no choice but to create a thread here in CC.
I know most of you want to flame me for my ridiculously absurd obsession over the story... although I would rather used the words "really passionate." But, I think (hope) that there are a few of you, who share this same interest in the books with me.
This thread is dedicated to these people, who would like to take part with me in discussing every bit of the book, and possibly the movie(s).
What scenes did you like or hate?
What made you sad? Did you cry?
Who were your favorite characters? Who did you dislike?
What would you have changed about the story/books?
To those, who have not yet finished all the books, I'd recommend watching out, as some of the following posts might (and most likely will) include spoilers.
seems likely to do .....

the last book I read was a book about the man behind Batman.
I haven't read any of the books. Actually hadn't heard of them until the movie came out.
What is the target audience/age of the book? Would I enjoy them? Assume that I'm male, and have already graduated and will read almost any genre.
^ from what little i know about it, it's supposed to be a very 'kyaaaaah!!!!.......' book, so...

The book? I heard its nice and was made effectively... especially useful in making fires.
I only heard of the whole Twilight craze once the movie came out as well. It was scary how so many people on facebook (for example) were going crazy about the movie. I figured, well I guess it won't hurt to go watch it.

The target audience of the book is generally teen-adult. Girls... the book being a vampire romance story. But, a lot of moms are going crazy over the books and movie as well. Some are even naming their kids after the book characters.
While that's the TARGET audience, like I said above, a guy friend read the first book. I also have a total gamer friend, who's in the least bit "girly" read all 4, and said he really enjoyed reading them.
Aside from the "romance" there are fight scenes, murder, blood, twisted sense of black humor.
The movie itself was put in the "thriller" genre.
I think that's about all I can say in the "general" sense. You could TRY reading it, and if you don't like it, just put the book down! (: (I doubt you'll be able to.)
And, thanks for being the ONE normal person in this thread. ♥
@Issal: I hope you drown soon. Real soon.
Issalroc you dope,,I was just having a nice moment and you killed it off -.-".I second what csuti said.
on topic: As I said before,I havenīt read the book yet,but I kinda know what itīs about since a colleague of mine did a presentation bout it....
And I donīt think Iīm gonna read it in the near future,too...But perhaps this year
I'm a bit of a sucker for the high school genre. Maybe I'll give it a try. I get enought seriousness irl, I can do with a bit of fluff.
