Do you sit and wipe or stand and wipe?

Why would anyone stand and wipe? That would make the mess harder to clean, not to mention it would feel uncomfortable, sort of like rubbing two pieces of bread with generous helpings of peanut butter together, except its your buttcheeks...

How can you sit and wipe, doesn't the TP get all drenched?
And you don't stand up straight, you bend your body forward to get the same angle as if you were sitting.
