Back then I remember my brother and I wrote a list of ten things of toys we wanted that our parents couldn't afford or wouldn't buy. It varied from Power Ranger action figures to video games. We would check each others list and if we were to both have the same toy one of us would erase it off our list because we wanted to share. When we finished making our list we ran out to the mail box and put both our lists inside in hope that he'd pick it up.
He never did.
That particular year I was a good kid, I even gave back the homework that I took from a classmate so I don't know why he didn't pick up my list. I started to lose faith and hope of him being real, that is, until I was watching the history of Santa Claus on T.V. one night and I found out the truth!
Santa died!
Rudolph was ill so his nose wasn't as bright as usual, but Santa had a deadline. If he were to skip a year than the results would be devestating. Like how people stopped believing in the Jesus or the tooth fairy. Santa made up his mind and made his trip around the world. All was fine up until his last stop for the night, the United States. When he arrived at New York City the weather was foggy. Rudolph was unable to light the way and so when they were flying in, the reindeer's couldn't really see. They were basically flying blind. It's also important to mention that the New Yorker's just finished building a tall skyscraper that year. However, Santa and his reindeers werent informed of this before he left the North Pole. Rudolph saw the building, but it was too late they crashed right into it. All of them fell and The fire fighters and police officer's were all there to witness the death of Santa Claus. They covered up what happened so that kids around the world wouldn't learn of this. What would happen to the children if they found out that Santa died in New York Christmas morning ?
I felt bad for not believing in him, especially since he died for us... There's just one thing though, what did they do to his body and all those dead reindeer's? I wonder if Mrs. Claus stayed a widow and fired all those elves... Does that explain why we have midge.. err.. I mean vertically challenged/short people?
Ever since I found out I've been telling non-believers about Santa Claus' death. When my sister's stopped believing in Santa Claus a few years ago, I told them this story. They didn't believe me, but I bet they told their friends, ha!
Now that you know the truth about Santa Claus, go spread the word!
