Practicing abstinence, bride and groom have never kissed

When the officiant tells Claudaniel Fabien he can kiss his bride at the altar Saturday, no one will fault the couple for a little "should I tilt my head this way, or that way?" awkwardness.

It will be the couple's very first kiss.

"I don't know how long it'll last, but it'll be great," says a confident Melody LaLuz, 28, who is marrying 30-year-old Fabien in Chicago after a yearlong courtship and two-year friendship.

I'm not going to say anything more on this subject. I just have to see your reactions first.

One of them will cheat on the other with a student.

I expect most of the posters here will express disbelief or scepticism. And while this isn't uncommon in my country, I don't think it'll last long, judging by the girl's "I don't know how long it'll last" comment.

I'm guessing if they've never kissed, then they've probably not lived together. It's gonna be a bit weird to adjust to it all. What if they snore? Or if they turn out to be really dirty?

The woman is kind of hawt. I don't see why it shouldn't work considering arranged marriages still go on with a high success rate.

That may have something to do with the fact that communities with arranged marriages are often the ones that frown upon divorce.

So it's like staying a virgin until marriage. To each their own, I guess. Personally I wouldn't go to this extreme but, whatever floats their boat.

I notice that most of arrange marriage seems to be more successful than those who got married normally.

Anyway I would have believe it if they said that they were both virgins. There are some people who do reserves themselves for marriage but to say that they have never kissed is quite hard to believe. looked at the pic, the woman in the pictures looks like she had some practice.

But doesnt that have something to do with that they were "forced" to marry eachother..In most of these situations, divorce, or them leaving each other may not be an option.
