Our kitten is dead. Got run over. Not entirely sure how it got out the house or into the road. This makes three in as many years. It was a feral cat that we rescued and was pretty skittish. Has taken almost a year for it to adjust to being around people. Now it's gone. So it goes.

My mess is that I'm trying to track down some books from the Kindaichi case files series, but its out of print and nowhere seems to stock them for a reasonable price. I've ordered two off Amazon and I also ordered 5 from another site. However I've now just had an email from that site saying that they have none in stock even though the site said they did.

Watched a live Cesarean section today. Looked like meat. They pulled the baby out with forceps (on his head).
Couldn't see a normal birth, there was a woman waiting for birth in the ward but we (me and my friends) all went home.
