Weddings should be simple, and definitely shouldn't require people to bring presents, or money. I do prefer the weddings that ask for money though, as opposed to presents. Saves the giver time finding something to give, and the receiver time returning (to the store) what was sent.
I've often thought of the idea of only inviting like 2-10 people to any future marriage I have, and telling everyone else after the fact that I'm married.
Beachy chique I guess is a speedo with a tie? The fact that that's the dress code means you shouldn't attend.

I've passed through the major wedding season with my friends/family. Looks like they're all done for now.
The nicest weddings that I've been to have been the most relaxed ones. It just seems like with a lot of them it is some sort of one-up competition with the women.
