But worry not Steal, this is outside of America too. People just like to emphasise that it's there. Alot of people here don't know our new Taoisach's name and yet still vote.
The geography thing is true too. We have 32 counties(including the six of Northern Ireland) and 4 provinces and most people can't name them.
I'll be honest though I have trouble remembering all the rivers and mountains and stuff.

What the hell is a Taoisach? Sounds kinda cute.

I'll agree that from what I've seen, Americans are stupid beyond tolerance, but to be fair, there ARE alot of states in the US of A. Far more than, for example, countries in the UK.

They don't have a monopoly on idiocy, though.

Well, both of them just discovered an american Island... But at least the Vikings didn´t mistake it for India (for a whole different continent).
