wonder what they'd have done if there was a piece of furniture right smack in the middle? at the cut-off point? say a chair. or maybe the staircase?

^I guess they'll still divide it. The husband is stubborn as hell (seeing the condition of the house after the divorce).

well they're near our country (if my geography is correct) and seeing as most storms either go north of our country or just pass through and continue west, then they be in storm country

I think a divorce was the right thing to do from the womans point of wiew. Imagine to live together with him. This part of the tv is mine side of the couch is mine, this part of the bedrom is mine! What a life.

Not really

Well, at least that husband didn't kill his wife to get the whole house.
It seems like a more common solution.
He might have realized that the if he did that it would be the the last time he'd see that house.
