nope, never. there are too many of us around, so my nationality is a default guess.
Normally I'm not mistaken for some different heritage.
But once somebody said I would look like an Albanian.
Weird.
And of course they know my heritage when they hear my surname since its foreign. Thats totally weird... the moment before that they mostly think I'm German, the moment after that not. You can see this moment always in their faces.

Was mistaken for Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Saudi, and African before.
@Tera- The facial hair makes you look Hispanic/Oriental. I think it would be harder to see past the Caucasian without it.

I don't understand this whole black muslim thing. Most blacks that convert to muslim think it will cure their perceived inferiority complex or make them more proud to be black. They always talking about "the white man this", "the white man that". Take it from me brother, you don't to me muslim to love being black.
People think I'm Asian. I say correct.
Then they say I'm Chinese. I say incorrect.
Then they say I'm Japanese. I say incorrect.
Then they say I'm Korean. I say incorrect.
Then they say I'm Vietnamese. I say incorrect.
Then they keep going down the list before they firgure it out, or I have to tell them out of my irritation that I'm Filipino.
Honestly, I don't look like either of the stereotypical Asian races, possibly because of my hispanic blood.
