He has the most medals of any Olympic athlete and has a shit load of awards. He can afford to pass up Mcdonalds because he still has tons of other sponsers who give him money.
Personally I don't give a damn what Michael Phelps does with his fame. Ultimately it comes down to parents to educate their children on what's good and bad to eat.
