And it's Joe Biden
I, for one, am expecting to see Biden calling the McCain campaign on all the bullshit they've been spewing. Good that Obama picked a guy who isn't afraid to call a spade a spade.

They sent me a facebook message announcing this. This campaign is really banking on the 18-30 vote.
I have to say, as of the the moment with what little I know about Biden, this campaign seems a little more likely to be successful. The Obama candidacy is now being tempered and molded with someone of enormous experience and a contradicting mindset.
I'd vote for that in a heartbeat.
I'm sure the media would have loved Obama x Hillary, though.
^....the sad thing is: that doesn't look all that bad. Good shop for sure.
I wanted Sebilius but I can live with Biden, I dunno that much about him but I haven't heard anything negative. I dunno why he picked him though since his campaign is about change and new faces in Washington when Biden is a 32 year veteran of this fucked up government. He's been a Senator since Obama was a damn teenager. If thats the case he really could have gone with Clinton... although she kinda repeatedly shot herself in the foot with a naval cannon over the last couple of months since she lost.

there's only one reason that Obama didn't choose HIlary as VP, and that's BILL-O-CLINTON!!!!! Do you know how awkward it would be to have an ex-president as the husband of your VP?? a VP you know has major aspiration to be President of the US?? That same Bill Clinton who unsuccessfully tried to pin Obama as a Jesse Jackson clone?
But i doubt Clinton would have been his VP since the Kennedys who co-signed Obama, dont like the Clintons and If Obama had chosen her, he would have burned his bridges with them. and you know the old saying :"Dont bite the hand that feed you!"
Still i still think its good for him to pick Biden, now he has a goon he can send to attack McCain.
I wonder if this means Joe Biden will supplant Clinton's Presidential bid in 2016... She'll be almost John McCain's age by then.

I think the primaries really killed the Obama x Hillary ticket. Way too much mudslinging and it effectively tore open a huge rift. It would have been a dream ticket, for sure.
..Now that I think about it, if Obama had picked Hillary, it would have sent a message of unity within the Democratic party to the nation showing that the two can look past the..well, past and unite for the greater good. Not picking Hillary shows that the Party is still a bit fractured and divided.
That said, I don't really know anything about Biden. Maybe he'll be a good choice after all. Maybe not. He certainly does answer the "experience" issues Obama has.
