I think you mean North Ossetia which belongss to Russia. And declaring sum independance doesn't mean you get automatically acknowledged by any other state. South Ossetia was always a part of Georgia since the beginnig.

It's the same bs like with The republlic of Transnistria one of the most criminal regions between Romania and Ukraine, demanding their independance for noothing at all.
I say it again, it was a huge mistake to accept the Kosovo as a state. That way every fucked up bs region will come up with it's independance declaration.

Now that's some evidence why ppl are so short-tempered there. Look at that georgian president. Already gained sum ballz back, though they still fhave russian troops in their country. For all the praise Georgia is getting from our politicians, they forget that Stallin was georgian. And Saccavilis will only have as much balls as we give him, which is why its even peculiar that he would attacked South Ossetia without our help. The Russians did report arresting a US military/mercenary who was with a bunch of Georgian soldiers they had arrested.(the us media has never reported this fact).
