On a serious note, I think this is outrageous.
The Olympics represent a special occasion where athletes strive to be the best in a spirit of camaraderie and people look up to them and an event that people all over the world will be following with excitement and passion. It's simply unacceptable that such a shameful act by the Chinese government be in force there.
The UN simply needs to intervene because this is an example of widespread, somewhat imposed organized racism that goes against all morality and breaches the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
So much for "One World, One Dream" being the slogan for this year's games.

Wow, I guess stereotypes travel faster than the speed at light.An owner said police met with Sanlitun bar reps and told them to monitor black patrons. He said the police told the reps that drug dealers are predominantly black in the area. He said the police did not ask bar owners to ban blacks.

I never knew about the whole deal with KFC, watermelons, Kool-Aid and the like until someone explained it to me on IRC. I still do not found it fun, but I guess that's a cultural thing.
