Chinese Acclaim Pig's Will to Survive 36 Days under Quake Ruins
Pretty cool story about a pig's drive to survive. So this begs the question: if you were stuck underneath rubble after an earthquake...how would you survive?

Been awhile since we have seen something from Asianoffbeat.^

Im stunned to see the pig was actually able to stay alive for so long, sure its original weight had probably alot to with it, but living on charcoal must have been hell..

If I were stuck...well, It wouldnt be long before I would start to chew my arms off for food..

I once read about a couple who were lost in the amazon for seven weeks, but they survied, talk about luck.

man, what a let down. I was hoping they were gonna be asian and eat the thing. =\

If that pig has lost 2/3 of its weight I can't imagine what it looked like before it got buried

You don't understand. They're fattening him back up before they eat him. He lost 2/3 of his weight.

The pig bought some time to live, I bet he planned an escape in all the time under the rocks.

I know the fate of that pig, is to end up in some Chinese belly.

Pigs will eat anything. I hope it will taste good.
