    I prefer Comix over CDisplay!
    If they only had those wobbly linux desktop effect.
    that would be awesome

    Meh, stuff like this is a fine line. Sorry for any confusion to both people.
    Mmmkay...

    It's funny though that my old CDisplay is still working on Vista. Well, it doesn't work as well as on XP. Opening .rar folders within .rar folders sounds nice, that's one of the gimmiks I still miss with CDisplay. I can't imagine reading manga without that program anymore.

    I'm gonna try Meeya out, hope it's user interface is as simple as CDisplay.

    @cool

    Thanks, this worked great!
    Have you ever tried to read 30 year old comics with CD Display or Mangameeya???

    Comix is far and away better, its adjustable colors produce far better fidelity than the two programs you listed's versions.
    For example, most of the scanned versions of New Mutants are so aged, they would be unreadable(to my standards), without the color correction abilities of comix...
    Granted, I don't know how many of y'all want to read Uncanny X-men from 1980...

    its a manga reader and optimized for b/w images. so i give you this one. i never tried to read old scans. but mangameeya DOES have color output settings and filters for image correction. maybe it just needs a plugin.

    Oh man... I've been suffering extracting archives just to view them with MS Office picture manager. I never thought of looking for a program that can view inside archives. pffft.

    For b/w only? So why should I change from CDisplay to Meeya. Color works fine on CD, and many mangas have some colored pages...
