I've stopped thinking of these as heat waves anymore. 29 in April, no, but it doesn't seem weird to have temperatures in the low to mid-thirties all through the summer anymore. The obvious solution is to stay in an air-conditioned place (I was working at a school yesterday when it was 34 - fun. Never doing that again), but really... just wear light clothes, keep water with you, tie up long hair... It really isn't that bad. People live through worse every day in other parts of the world, as I've been told. :/

I wish I knew that earlier. Today, to go to my town's carnival, I biked 6 miles back and forth, and now I'm crispy burnt and a little delusional.
I dealt with it by jumping in a cold shower.

I'm just chillin' in my room. (: No matter how hot it is outside, it always seems to stay rather good temperature in my room. Without an AC.

well,we had also some very hot days,around 30°C/86 F - but now there are crazy storms (and it´s still hot^^)
and I gotta/had to play tennis in that heat too.... xD

This is all child's, play, we made a 58*C 136F here. This time of year the weather changes all the time. Not too far ago, I went to open the door for someone outside, and it was so FRIGGING HOT. I was almost dizzy. Later that evening it turned cold and windy.
