oh man,those kids aren´t in the 7th/8th grade?about 13-14 years? (or sorry if it´s different,perhaps I´m messing it up cuz it´s the american school system)- and they don´t know anything about sex? OMG!!!!!!!!

this reminded me of one of my friends, a girl..

There isn't sex ed on 90% of schools where I lived, specially since most are catholics
But anyway, we are talking and of course sex pops up, and she grins and goes!

I found a great way to have sex and not get pregnant!
I say: Condoms..

After I nearly passed out from laughing, then I realized she was really serious, she didn't know!!
Then you see, that something is wrong, that many are oblivious about things, and parents are usually too shy to talk about.

Its just like my neighbor that came to me asking to put a password on the internet, because she caught her son watching porn...

In the end I said to her: Will this help, in what? How many of his friends have computer? If he have questions, will YOU answer him?
And besides, you really think a little password will keep him from looking at porn? He know just about what I do about computers...(little white lie~ but gotta help the bro!)

Back on topic, I think its fair to prosecute the teacher only if the parents that disagree with her teaching, attend the sex ed class and answer their kids questions instead of the teacher.. kinda like community work for being dumbasses.

If the parents don't want a Health teacher to teach that to them, then who's going to teach them? Older abusive kids with STD's?

My mom gave me a sex ed book at 14. Basically answered all my questions and then some.

How about encouraging high-schoolers reading sex-ed books? I did it myself when I was in 4th grade.

Never have time to practice until college, though...
