No. Unless he wants to simulate some random crap on the GPU.
And I'm pretty sure Jyuu can already afford it. And build it. If he wants to.
And until games can scale up well using more than two GPU's, I think he won't even bother.
Note that that guy just did GPGPU on four graphics cards (with two cores on each). Presumably 4x 9800GX2's? Nothing out of the impossible or new. And there are already cases of hospitals using GPGPU to do tomography.
That would be great for my dad, he's a Data Base Administrator for this company.

Nothing great. The only good thing are the four 9800GTX for the CUDA.
A $4999 NVIDIA Tesla is better than that.
Btw, I wouldn't dream of downgrading my system for a slower CPU, crappier board, shitter RAM, inferior cooling and less/slower hard drives.
God..
Do you like work for NASA or something? O_o
It's Jyuu, he's always one step ahead of the future.
Jyuu doesn't need a new desktop computer, just a new chair.. for his persocom!!!
But the computer is not that impressive.. tho.. its even funny that I have the very SAME HD... I bought for 100bucks~ and that alone is a flag "Sir that is not top notch!"
Jyuu, explain to me what the best perfect computer there is, that is actually in existance.
Interesting. I've read this about 30 minutes ago and here it is.
@jyuu
And I guess they got what they wanted. From weeks of processing to hours. at a budget.
