Not really that futuristic. I've seen a phone with a stun gun. Cell networks are offering mobile banking. eyepatch computers (Dragon ball z style) are very evident with ever increasing efficiency on chips (not to mention developments in quantum computing and high temperature superconductors) and solid state harddrives. I won't be surprised with phones coming with biometrics in the next few years detecting moisture in your hand to identify the user. hahah. cool. phonetheft solved.

I'm a physics guy so I'll not comment on creating a single celled organisms. hehehe. I agree that "creation" of organisms is far more complicated than "deconstruction" of a single atom. I remember a post with 60 lasers hehehe.
