Guess what the completely unbiased news networks decided was to blame for a "corn shortage?" Sure as hell wasn't all the damn foods, and anything else that we make, that also happens to have corn oil in it. You know, about 80% of all food made in factories in the first place.

Can't wait till they figure out that solar energy causes cancer and that electric cars lead to more pollution than stretch hummers.

Ethanol is a myght it won't help at all in our misfortunes, Ethanol produces worse things than Gas and by worse things I mean that CO2 is a GIFH of heaven compared to the results of burning Ethanol >_>

Corn oil is a good idea, use the Oil to fry your food and then use the rest of it to start your car, but there is a HUGE problem, if all the cars start to use Corn oil then its price would go to Mars and beyon >_> with is NOT a good idea, unless you want all the greedy corn farmers to be rich, with ofcourse I don't want!!!

Nuclear is an Exelent IDEA, but there is the problem about the Nuclear waste, with is a pain in the ass, not to mention about the security issues, when Chernovil blew the Radiation took a trip around the world and the world population recived the same radiation levels of the X-Rays working in all your body for 39 secs or a min, with won't kill you and won't do anything at all >_>, but just show us that if a few of them were to blow up the world would be affected and not just the 200 milles around the Nuclear power plants >_>

Hydrogen and Fuel Cells are cool and all, but the only problem is its effiency and its price.

There is no way out without sacrifices, the BEST we can do is Change the so called American Life Style, stop wasting so much energy, stop being *****, carpool your friends to work turn the lights out when you leave a room, if all the World Population (Mainly USA and China) stopped wasting energy then we wouldn't have this many problems, if you are not using a Radio or a TV just unplug the damm thing, even when they are off most of them still consume a good much of electricity and if all the world were to do that we would save more than 80% of the actual energy comsumtion.

    I AM SURE OF THAT.

BY THE WAY VOTE FOR OBAMA YOU LAZY WANKERS.

    Here

The reason why we have higher gas prices is because european countries have had the good sense of levying exise taxes on gas, while america seems to be content on sticking its head in the sand WRT the incoming energy crisis.

Would you state the side effects of ethanol? pound per pound, in my opinion, gas has more pollutants than ethanol since gas is derived from fossil, which is a mix of etc. Also, there are other natural gases which can be used as fuel aside from ethanol. Pollution aside, it is the immediate need of alternative fuel to reduce the price of oil that needs to be remedied.

Also, I'm not sure if its true, that america is paying farmers NOT TO PRODUCE. so raising the price of crops is really not that much of a threat in the near future. And it is much better than gas since you CAN produce alternative fuels while you can't produce gasoline.

Fertilizer burns real well, guess why?

The point is that the energy investment into making ethanol doesn't match the return, why would you spend $10 to get $5?

For energy in general, nuclear is the best option currently available.

That's why I said there are other alternative fuel. Have you heard methane gas being produced from landfills? I bet that doesn't cost much.

Yes, in terms of efficiency nuclear is. but how you'll gonna deal with the waste? can't just throw it in the sea.

Reprocessing of course. Throwing away perfectly usable nuclear fuel is utter madness.

As for biofuels, I've always found it somewhat perverse to use perfectly good farmland to produce crops that you cook down to fuel while millions starve all over the world. Even more so when they started doing it in the thirld world. Capitalism in action, as they say.

Hmmm, that is the tough one, and if he doesn't pick a good one, I probably won't vote. Afterall, McCain is practically a Democrat anyway, looking at his policies.

We need someone black. I think Alan Keyes(yes, I know the Maya Keyes thing will pop up, however, I think he is right in what he effectively said, "Hate the sin, love the sinner." He never disowned his daughter, but he also won't endorse that lifestyle). I think Alan Keyes would be a great choice, politically, get the black vote, and also the gay vote(at least the Log Cabin Republicans) if he reciprocates his relationship with his daughter publically.

Also, bi, you know I can't legally say that. =p So, lets say, "No, no, of course not. I would never want anyone to hurt or threaten the legally elected president, or even one of the canidates." High, Secret Service guys. Notice, I made no actual threat, so piss off.

Well, technically so's Joe Lieberman. And both of them hold views that aren't commonly associated with the official positions of the Democrat party.

I also would argue that there are bigger flaws with McCain's policies than the fact that they may not be "conservative enough". Would you really vote for a man who seems intent on dancing down the same merry path as Bush has for the past eight years?

Alan Keyes? Didn't he bugger off to join the Constitution Party a while ago?

To me, its just a matter of what you fear more. On one hand, I can hope that the economy really takes a downturn, and the fickle public demonize President Obama, a la Van Buren. However, do I really want to risk that, since I have a sinking feeling that Obama would actually make a good President?

Throw that boy a political office, and he will be on it like white on rice.
