My English teacher was talking about how she boycotts Disney movies and products because they have inappropriate subliminal messages. I thought she was nuts, so I did a little google search and surprisingly found a few hilarious examples of 'innuendo' that may or may not be intentionally placed in the movies.
*Note: The Little Mermaid one was apparently acknowledged as an accident later and taken off the video cover after the 2000 version.Hidden messages, such as a penis that is drawn into the castle on the cover of "The Little Mermaid" movie, can be seen throughout many Disney favorites. In "Aladdin" there is a scene where he stands on Jasmine's balcony and whispers to the unsuspecting ear "take your clothes off." Another popular innuendo is in "The Lion King" when Simba plops down on the grass and the word "sex" appears in the rising dust.
There is also another picture from the Little Mermaid where the bishop performing the prince's marriage has an erection when reading the rites.
The Lion King pic:
Another popular example is from The Rescuers, where they apparently show a picture of a topless woman.
These are just some of the pictoral innuendo. There's also a lot of lyrical innuendo and parts of the plot (especially in Aladdin and Little Mermaid) that are implicative.
