So you saying when you lift one leg up in the air, all the weight from that leg magically disappear?

But here is the gundam SD commented:

So he got 16.5 meters high, are you going to say to me that his feet are distribute the weight on anything bigger then a meters square? put 7.5 tons of pressure on that little square you see what happens..

I guess I better let you guys believe in whatever logic that Gundams can exist in this time..
(I'm not saying that will be impossible to gundam to exist somewhere in future, but right now its IMPOSSIBLE, please lets not argue physcis..)

a single cinder block could support 7.5 tons. Thats 15,000 lbs. The weight of a medium sized truck.
So you saying that a cinder block, a mixture of sand, water cement.. can hold 7.5 ton alone?

I can punch through a cinder block, and I'm not the physical type.

Now lets supposed what you say its true and a cinder block can support 7.5ton ALONE.
One block is 8 in (20.3 cm) high by 8 in (20.3 cm) deep by 16 in (40.6 cm) wide

Really, you going to say you can put 7.5TON over a 32 square inch(best case scenario) area and you expect me to believe its not going to sink like you walking over sand?

2. I'm not quoting that entire post but lets make this simple.

1. No one said Gundams could exist today.

2. The earth is not made of mud. 15,000 lbs is not a lot of weight even if its distributed over 2 square meter area. Even if it was standing on sand it wouldn't sink far enough fast enough for it to be truly detrimental. How big of a footprint do you think a 60 ton tank has? 6 square meters? I think you're seriously underestimating the planet. Why you'd think that a gundam foot is the size of a cinderblock... Don't get mixed up now.

3. Because you can punch through it doesn't mean its weak. You'd be surprised what people can punch through. The cinderblock reference was to show that its not even close to unfeasible to say that a gundam's leg could support it entire weight. Considering the strength of current metallurgy I'm surprised we couldn't build something the weight of a gundam and with one leg launch it 100 feet in the air... and land.

4. Yes a single cinderblock can hold 15,000 pounds. Its of comparable strength to concrete. And you know what people use concrete for? Yeah.

It's the same thing as laying on a bed of nails. If you share the weight, the nails won't go through you. Punching through a cinder block is hard. It's also a focused pressure.

Need links to compare powers. Also, I think they are no more vs threads.

BHA! Who cares. Iron man is just a man in a suite. But so are the gundam boys...except, in a thousand times bigger suite who can fly at top speed faster than iron man ever can. Not to mention the gundams could fly amazingly fast in space, which Iron man lacks. And that is just the beginning. MWAHAHAHAHAH!

Probably has something to do with the fact they're like a thousand years in the future.

Or to put it in simplier terms, just a different 'universe' altogether.
