That doesn't make any sense. Men determine the sex of the child because they carry the x and/or y chromosome in the sperm cell that determines the gender.

Might be that what you eat make's the egg more open too one or the other chromosome, but seems abit far fetched. Try it out on 5000 more and if the results are around the same I might look that way.

And what do you have to eat to get girls? Much bacon and eggs for breakfast?

It doesn't matter what you eat, what determines the sex of a child is the chromosome of the spem cell that fertilized the egg cell. If it was an X, it's a girl, if it was a Y then it's a boy.
