    Nah. Kinda like Crash mixed with Reign Over Me. Show the past, give backstory on the two of them, the confrontation, and their aftermath once they leave the restaurant, culmanating in a bond, then one (or both) of them die. Cool beans.

    I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
    I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
    before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

    You know, now that I re-read that story again, I cannot take the words "Just as Planned" out of my head.

    ^ agreed. It's really touching, especially in these times that we don't even know such people even existed... I mean, he changed someone's life for the better, how cool is that?

    This is awesome, if somewhat foolish (it could have had very bad consequences). I just hope the kid learned something from this.

    This reminds me of a story (true I think) that occurred in the middle ages (post islamic). Some people wanted to find out who was the kindest one in the from the arabs/muslims, so they sent people dressed poorly to the most famous three kindest people in that era.
    The first one to a blind/near blind guy and asked for help, that guy had nothing except one or two boys who help him go to the mosque and he gave them away.
    The second one was sleeping, and the maid gave the guy who asked for help 1000 dinars (at that time ~300 dinars would get you a camel, and a camel is like a car now).
    Third dude they went to was about to travel, and he gave the person who asked for help his horse/sword/money he had on him on that time.

    Yeah, ok boring post.

    @98abaile

    actually, come to think of it, what's the worse that could've happened at that point ? he loses a coat in addition to his wallet. from the danger and resource standpoints, it wasn't much of a gamble. it's just that not too many people (me included) would take the extra step to do something so unexpected and self-giving.
