I do find it odd how its only girls that do this, and the vast majority of them are asian or white. Latina girls and black girls don't do it. Odd.

because we're brought up in strict families that put politeness as an important virtue. either that, or our smaller size subconsciously makes us more pacifistic =)

Politeness: The socially acceptable way of saying one of three things: 1) I'm afraid of you, 2) I'm better than you, or occasionally 3) Will you sleep with me?

Like echoblaze said, their diminutive size naturally makes them more submissive. So if they get in your way and don't apologize, they think that you might surprise sex them.
