I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

"Meisner would not describe what type of abuse took place on the ranch but said a judge determined there was sufficient evidence to order all 401 children into temporary state custody.
There were allegations of physical abuse, allegations that these children were at risk of harm"
In other words, they don't have a shrewd of proof that they abused thoses kids, or even they were at risk..
And the judge with not much to go on, wave the "KIDS INVOLVED" flag.
Where just mentioning that kids where there, everyone goes into the moral rightoseness..
Sorry, I don't see any problem with them living that way. They choose to live that life.
Why they raided? Because of some annonymous call of a alledged 16-year-old raped, and fathered by a 50-years-old..
It just don't seems right for me. something is out of place, and they needed some excuse and used that to raid them.
Won't be long until some "Light" appear... if the world doesn't go your way, make it go.. right?
As a member of what some people on this forum assume is the far-right, naturally my thoughts are:
I think there is nothing wrong with polygamy. Provided the couples are of lawful age(not in this case, for example), and all parties(multiple husbands, or multiple wives) are willing.
Though personally, I think it would be like shooting yourself in the head. Afterall, anyone else remember what the chinese character for, "Trouble," is?
I also agree that polygamy, in and of itself, isn't particularly bad.
But if it's being forced on people, especially children, then that's obviously not so good. Guess we have to wait to see what else appears out of this.
irecinius, invading was the right thing to do. It was not their choice to live that way, or else why would that girl have called? In those places, people are forced into that kind of lifestyle simply by being born there. Besides, if kids are involved, then why wait for clear evidence that something has happened? That's not how it works everywhere else. If there's enough evidence to believe that something is wrong there - and it seems there definitely was - WHY wait until things could be even worse for those people?
I'm so happy this isn't being ignored. I can't imagine being forced into marriage at such a young age to someone who I don't like - and is probably related to me - and forced to have their kids, along with a bunch of other young girls. That's disgusting.

The fact that you're having kids, then forcing them to live in that lifestyle, is inherently wrong. Good call with the FBI on this one.

I remember when I was in fifth grade. We had a class rat(we usually fed them to the class snake, but not this one for some reason). It bred with its daughter. And its grand-daughter. Then the girls got pissy, and we fed the rat to the snake. That rat was the MAN.
But for people, that is a very, very naughty thing.
