I think that she was pretty before she wasn't wearing clothes. It's just the fact that she was wearing clothes that were very masculine in nature.

She looks like a guy in the pre-prostitue pictures. Doesn't matter if they were masculine in nature, give her feminine clothes and she'd still look like a guy.

I wonder if that's some sort of twisted happy ending, right there. Her maths studies were forced, and she didn't like them; so, even a luxurious life wouldn't have been something that would've made her happy. However, I wonder if that person if indeed fine with her current life.

She calculated with her leet math skills that she would make a whole lot more money being a prostitute, making $630/hour, than being a mathematitian, making just enough to live a normal life.
