The charitable society, the largest in Palestine, runs two orphanages and several boarding schools, which cater for as many as 7000 children who have lost either or both parents.

The whole thing is kinda depressive and revolting for sure, but Israel is seen as the only good state in the area by the US so...

^ Well the media shows them like that, but the U.S (people in office) know better. They can't directly control the middle east, so they back Israel with weapons, money and veto's.

Google this "orphanage looted" and you'll find a heck of a lot of posts. I couldn't find any official statements denying it either. (but there was a protest, I doubt that it'd be fake).
I wouldn't be surprised if they did that however, they've done worse.
Edit: I've zoomed in the signs in the pic of the link I posted here, the signs do match, so the pic isn't fake.
