Are you guys kidding?
1 million dollars is a lot, sure 30-50 mill is alot too but why go that far when you cant even get to 1 million?
Obviously It wont last forever, therefore you work......

I just got 1 question for everybody....
If i gave you $1000K, would you accept it?
The money is clean btw (not stolen,etc.)

Geez, I don't know what you guys are complaining about. Try living in the UK. £500,000 is fuck all, and the government will steal most of that.

Would take it and invest it to make more money out of it.
As mentioned, 1m is a "beginning".

Most people who get their first million are getting their second million a lot faster. Its often claimed that this step into your first million is the hardest part.

Anyways thats not the issue, a million dollars is a lot to many people. Some people here for some reason dont think that....I wonder why?

With 1 mil you can : buy a building as many apartments as you can in one building (if possible). Rent them all but one, in which you live in.

I dont wanna live in an area where you can buy an appartment complex with 1m.

An entire complex?! Unless you're talking about a trailer park I dunno any "complex" you can buy with a million dollars shy of going to Bosnia or something. Although honestly I'd be ecstatic to be proven wrong. It'd damn sure reaffirm the value of the world to me.

With One million you can buy right now as the real state market is, about 2 houses top, ranging 230-300
Sure that doesn't add up to 1m, but the repairs and furniture and fixin' to make the house sellable or rentable, you going to use most of it..

You can make half million or something flipping two good houses..

But if you want, you could get about 1 great appartment and 4oks appartaments down in brasil, with 1mil. But not sure about living off rent, I'd drop 4 aps, and live of interest of my money in the bank :P
