I can say this though: George Bush has proven that a Republican can be a historically gargantuan fiscal liberal, and yet his party and associates will gladly, and frequently, use "they'll raise taxes" and "they'll hurt our economy" as arguments against their Democratic opponents.

What theres a way to put a positive spin on this? Enlighten me. Last I checked, claiming that business is getting harder means that profits should be going down not up.
100 million for alternative energy / 40 billion in oil profits = .25%
I dunno about you but I think they can spare alot more than a quarter of a percent of their profits for alternative energy.
