Its name was Netscape. (Fight Club anyone?)
I never liked Netscape as a browser. Meh.
I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

quick history lesson: netscape used to rule the browser wars - then internet explorer came out and there was competition. the geniuses at netscape decide to rewrite their code from ground up, costing them many years; all the while, internet explorer improved and eventually reversed netscape's dominance. internet explorer has ruled ever since.
well, lately of course, firefox is starting to gain traction. most (computer-literate) people i know use firefox nowadays.
IE is at 70-something percent and Firefox is nearing 20 I believe. Netscape has last than one percent atm.

And yeah, I used to use Netscape back in 98 or 99.
Though I seem to recall having used Mosaic as well.
