    Default Microsoft attempts to swallow up Yahoo

    http://dealbook.blogs.nytimes.com/20...ref=technology

    what do you guys think of this ? probably nothing much will happen - yahoo users will probably still have their email/albums/whatnot without seeing much change.

    apparently, software is starting to move to the internet direction, instead of the traditional CD-installed-on-desktop. and since Google seems to have a dominant position on the web, Microsoft plans to buy out Yahoo.

    HOLY SHIT ON A TOASTER OVEN! I didn't read that part.

    You could take that money and feed the whole world any large combo from Wendy's, six billion people, as much as SEVEN times. Good lord. That's 43,000,000,000 serving of Ramen Noodles.

    @stealdragon

    online advertisements no doubt. the large chunk (majority) of google's revenue comes from online ads. i had no idea that online ads were worth so much, but hey, google proved that you could build a super-successful company off them.

    Honestly I didn't read the article you posted, I heard about the offer on CNN after the Democratic Presidential Debate. They asked the same question I did... jokingly of course.

    Google needs to start up a social network. And a blogging network. And other stuff. Slowly and surely, the Internet will come to be known as the Google.

    All hail to our Google Overlords!
