I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

It's a mart clone! :O
... what's with those weird sock puppets that just popped up ? obviously someone who's been around for awhile. o_; i sense shenanigans
but yah, i don't think i could drill my child with math problems the same way my dad did to me. i'd remember how i hated it as a kid and probably feel guilty.
Well the trade-off would be that your kid would be dumb.
It's a mart clone! :ONah its the same guy. One account, one post... Now I just need to find who it is at Purdue ^^Yes. Obviously. And you are?
He's cute for a troll, if not particularly bright. If he's reading this though, as his IP is static at his (I will assume) Purdue Dorm Room, he wouldn't want to be blocked from being here at ST permanently? hmm? I was even nice enough to leave his Palmtree acct intact :P
Also guys, don't feed the Troll, I shouldn't need to tell you all that (most specifically I'm looking at you Mojo, as you didn't add anything to the thread AND fed the troll).
I couldn't be bothered to read the thread, but I completely agree with you Jakko.
Using a calculator to do algebra will only teach you how to use a calculator to solve a specific equation. Algebra is about learing the logic and specific rules that allow you to "decipher" and solve the equation. In the real world it allows you to apply reasoning to solve a problem and has many aplications.
