If you are worried about deffamation, the don't go to the press, but you can still go to the police or a charity.
Remember, despite everyone here saying "go to the press", going to the press should be the last thing you do after exhausting every other avenue.
Campus staff first, then schools authority, then police, then womens rights groups and charities, then the press last if all else fails. Chances are, if this is reported and there is a case against him, the press will come to you.
Ohh you guys are from NZ too, I live in Australia now but I think NZ was better cos it was colder...btw I lived in Aucks
Back to the topic WTF? Like what other said it's more or less prostitution.....
hehehe.....my solution? Yakuza, dont really care if its illegal, what he's doing is illegal anyways
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....................
Enough talk about NZ, create a new thread if you have to. Get back to the topic.
Angry man. NZ rules
But yeah, still haven't done anything. Don't see my girlfriend that often![]()
Any update on the status of the douche?

Nope. To be honest, I've all but dropped it. She clearly doesn't want to do anything, and I've been talking to other people who know what it's like to be a foreigner in Japan.
The attitude is basically "you're a barely-tolerated guest as it is. Start making waves and you'll just piss everyone off. If nobody there is making a deal out of it, just stay out of it". Which, after thinking about it, is probably sound advice.
The best I can do is to tell everyone I know that it's happening and spread awareness.
^ Yeah I think I know what you're talking about, that sucks though.
You must've heard about Professor Paul Buchanan at Auckland Uni last year? He sent a slightly condescending email, some said racist, to a student and was fired. If you haven't then look it up. But yeah like you said, any small thing happens in NZ and it's like the shit hit the fan.
And the old farts and higher-ups in Japan manage to slip away yet again with their "reputation" intact. Well, I would like to move to Japan someday, if it weren't for their whiny, F*CKED UP laws regarding foreigners. It's all bad circumstances. 98abaile's got really nice advice up there. Sorry, I've got no fresh ideas for helping you out (since everyone here's stated all that I could think of and more).
Now, if only real life had Akumetsu in it... (Akumetsu - guy wearing a demon-mask humiliates, terrifies and kills corrupt Japanese politicians - nice manga!)
