No one can prevail against Anonymous. Scientology's going down hard.
I don't know, the Fur Fandom is surviving just fine with Anonymous picking on them.
Still, if these actions result in Scientology's misdeeds being even more well known and protested against, I'm all for it.
The thing with furries is more like distaste. This is all out war. YOu can win against someone who is anonymous...
Certainly this is something difficult to predict. On one side you have the authors of plans such as "Operation Snow White" and "Operation PC Freakout;" on the other side you have people who have raided sites, and are capable of play with some amount of information across the Internet.
I think the outcome, if there is any at all, would depend on how much support each side gets. Anonymous as 4chan's Anonymous alone, I think, wouldn't be able to undertake something like this. A good number of Anonymii from other chans like 7chan, 420chan and the like happen to lurk in 4chan as well; so, I wouldn't call that support. There's also site like 2ch, which is also visited by commoners but it also has its share of connoisseurs. Let us not mention that sites like 2ch has far more activity than 4chan; now, that'd be some support. Now, there's also the support that Scientologists may get, and after reading about their operations they can easily achieve something big.
This is awesome. I don't believe Anon's goal is ultimately achievable, Scientology will remain, the question is how much damage will be be done to them.
You know... nobody's doing it... until the Inet community does.
Thats what so awesome about the internet. I support them from the bottom of my heart.
It may be off topic, but I always think of the internet as the last open place on earth... I dont know how to describe it but maybe Onepiece describes it perfectly.
WE may not go by the law, but we are doing the right thing. With passion, with freedom, sharing knowledge, sharing hands...
Stuff like this again... It makes you belive in the world.
Saw this yesterday. I await results.
Honestly though I'm more interested in EA + Gamers Vs. FOX News + Cooper Lawrence
The FOX news thing was merely annoying. This, on the other hand, is epic.
