ermm for Aids there has to be bodily fluid transmission, so it'd be a little hard to get it thorugh a condom that was working properly..
You can however get aids from kissing someone.
^ Unless they had a cut in their mouth (or some less than savoury bodily emission, depending on your sexual endeavours), you'd need to -EAT THEIR HEART AND BRAIN-MEATS- to get HIV.
Please ignore this post as it is useless and instead refer to shautieh's below. Thank you and have a nice day.

@silvermoon : That's bullshit, saliva cannot transmit AIDS. Next we will learn handshaking someone who is positive to AIDS might give you the virus
The probability to get AIDS via kissings is near 0, as is the probability to get it via fellatio unless your mouth is bleeding like no tomorrow...
edit : about kissing and similar myths :
:P'You would have to drink a bucket of infected saliva to become infected yourself' . . . Yuck! This is a typical myth. HIV is found in saliva, but in quantities too small to infect someone. If you drink a bucket of saliva from an HIV positive person, you won't become infected. There has been only one recorded case of HIV transmission via kissing, out of all the many millions of kisses. In this case, both partners had extremely badly bleeding gums. 'Sex with a virgin can cure HIV' . . . This myth is common in some parts of Africa, and it is totally untrue. The myth has resulted in many rapes of young girls and children by HIV+ men, who often infect their victims. Rape won't cure anything and is a serious crime all around the world.
'It only happens to gay men / black people / young people, etc' . . . This myth is false. Most people who become infected with HIV didn't think it would happen to them, and were wrong.
'HIV can pass through latex' . . . Some people have been spreading rumours that the virus is so small that it can pass through 'holes' in latex used to make condoms. This is untrue. The fact is that latex blocks HIV, as well as sperm - preventing pregnancy, too.
ugh sorry I knew it was present in the saliva, but not in what quantities.
No problem, but AIDS is enough of problem without us inventing new ways of spreading
Only blood transmission and anal/vaginal penetration are really (quite) risky, so we don't have to wear a full body cellophane suit to protect ourselves ^^"

The question of whether or not a condom will prevent AIDS in consistent use of HIV possitive people is...questionable.
Still, I totally agree with you on avoiding these "Don't sneeze, I'll get AIDS!"™ myths.
Seriously though, why do people think of AIDS first? Why not Chlamydia, or Gonorrhea, or even Crabs before they think of AIDS?

^ and ? the sperm goes in your stomach and is digested... As others said there is no conclusive fact that people get infected through fellatio, but what is sure is that the chance is damn low, whether you swallow or not. Indeed, there are a lot of couples whose one person only has AIDS which kiss and "make" fellatios without condoms and without having problems.
