Thread: Cloned Meat

So the FDA approved of cloned meat coming into the US market and so it's caused quite a stir. So the question is, as an individual, would you eat cloned meat?

Hope it don't become just what Bio-meat is (read the manga)

Of course, there's nothing wrong with the meat. As long as it's not diseased, it's ending up in my stomach.

so how do you define "real" meat and "clone" meat?

If FDA approves, I shall eat.

My big question is simple: is the cloning process itself necessarily flawless? I'm already eating cancer tumors and puss; but what if this muscle tissue has a transferable mutagen forming in it when about every ten millionth pound is formed and it starts a small pandemic?

I'll eat it, I have eatten far worse things..

it's not a big deal to me... scientists have been tinkering around with our food ever since they thought of it, plus it underwent ... i think 6 ? ... years of testing before finally giving it the ok.
