>.< is she really deserve to be sentenced?
Stuff like this happen all the time. :/
Yea, but it was still the operator's fault for mistaking it for a prank.

That's what I meant when I said "all the time."
People dying because the operator told the called to fuck off.
Are they even allowed to do that? I thought 911 operators HAD to take the call seriously unless the caller actually stated that it was a prank. Must suck calling in a crime/emergency, and then get told to kram it with walnuts..
@raveneros : the mother could have been saved if she did her work, so yes she deserves it :P
At the very least she should have called the police to go fine the pranksters, as they could have helped once they reached the house (unless they killed everyone as a preemptive measure)
I don't think prison is the right punishment, she should have been fired and reprimanded. But kids prank 911 all the time and considering how much money it is to deploy city services she should have a justifiable skepticism every time she picks up the phone.
I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

agree with steal, its be very dificult to trust a call from kids allege its emergency. 10 of kids call 911 i belive 9 of them will be pranks.
So what if kids prank call 911 all the time? You just can't take that chance and I think this case proves it. Plus if it is a prank call, the kid will get trouble.
