so...How would you solve the Iraq war?

questions to get your mind going: Do you think we should withdraw troops? How fast? What happens if we remove troops and the situation in Iraq gets worse, how would you respond? Would the problems in Iraq be fixed faster if we added more troops instead?

Mind you, I prefer not to hear answers like "Well, we shouldn't have even been in there in the first place!!!" cause let's face it, you can't change the past. We're in Iraq, so too bad!

I would remove the troops and convince the missionaries in Africa to head up there... If they don't kill themselves well... At least I know there will be less missionaries in the world.

How about installting an american mafia that rules the underworld and works for the integration of Iraq to american culture? That would provoke them to battle corruption.

But seriously... Withdraw the troops, but slowly. Start schools and get them unbiased education. That is always one of the key elements to stabilize a country.

I would go back in time and stop it from ever happening. Many casualties were made from this useless war. Nothing was accomplished from this. No WMD's, Saddam and Iraq weren't responsible for 9/11.

First thing before any of what I posted below happens: Have Bush on trial for crimes against humanity on the charges of pure stupidity for relying on a lying,theiving, taxi driver trying to get asylum in Germany for intel about Saddam and his "wmds". (If you don't believe me, go look it up). That and for crimes against peace (no WMDs, no excuse to invade and start a war).

Well, first I'd say "fuck it" and then I'd just pull out the troops and sit back and watch it die out, they can't get new insurgents when everyone's dead you know.

Or, send in Tom Cruise and every other big scientologist, along with all the idiotic celebrities, mixed in with die hard fundamentalist christians who know how to use a gun. and replace those with our troops. We kill 5 birds with that. Tom Cruise, scientologists, idiotic celebrities, fundamentalists, and the insurgency. We simply move in and mop up what's left over.

Plus everyone should be dead, so we can just move in and colonize it and turn it into our 51st state + more domestic oil! If there's any survivors, we can just exploit them just like we did to every other native peoples whose lands we've taken.

Meh, just withdraw. And make it into another Vietnam or something. It doesn't really matter, in the long run.

Seriously now, there aren't much options... Troups cannot withdraw too soon (unless you want the extremists you have created to take over the country really quickly), and yet it is inconceivable for the US (and etc.) to stay for too long, so a progressive withdrawal is the only option, I think... Of course it will be a real mess, but there is no other ways out :P


PS : Personally I hope the US won't be withdrawing troop from Iraq just in order to invade Iran too... or Pakistan as the pro US militant was killed...

I think its bullshit to withdraw troops, Iraq is far from what what it was origianlly intended to be, so I say nay on the withdraw. The police down there needs to be better from what I've heard.
