In the meantime, it will NEVER be as it was originally intended to be...

are you stupid or what ? How the hell should they be able to detect each and every "infiltrator" ? They are in great need of policemen/military men, so they can't AFFORD to be picky to begin with !
Also all the higher ranked people are not pro US, so they could easily help so called infiltrators if they wanted to.

Why don't we just pull out now? It's not a sign of weakness.

That sounds so wrong in so many ways.

But it's not a sign of weakness...just lack of stamina.

rather than a lack of stamina, I would say it would be a lack of coherence : "Let's invade a country ! Yeah ! Now let's get out of the mess we created !" :P

Its still no excuse for having a police force that cause more harm the good. They need to be trained better =/ As for the detection of infiltrator, they should do some sort of reseach on those they pick to be their police. Even though they are in need of a steady protection of their citizens.

Yeah, Its irresponcible to just pick up and leave everything behind. Can't see the benifits by leaving. Unless they can't afford having a standing army in Iraq anymore, it probably cost more then we can imagine.

Mind you, I prefer not to hear answers like "Well, we shouldn't have even been in there in the first place!!!" cause let's face it, you can't change the past. We're in Iraq, so too bad!
Withdraw is a really bad idea, a total withdraw of the troops (Hilary's new bullcrap campaign move) would leave Iraq in a complete chaos in with everyone would try to become leaders of the country, the Chaos would soon spread to all the neirboring countries and you can guess the rest, Oil breaking the $200 dollars and so on.

First we need to try to give the country some stability, how can we do it? There are several ways, the easies one is to find Key people that can put the country back on track, and that doesn’t mean Hand picking the ones that favor the states, a puppet will not be able to do the work that is needed to regain stability, actually an US hater can reach the goal of stability much faster than anyone else, so we need to find a person that doesn’t support anything of what the United States did, but haves a moral code and high value of any human life, it doesn’t matter if is a United State non supporter as long he/she supports the values that make Humans a great race.

Then we need to do a lot of diplomatic talks with Iran, Syria and co, so they can help the US regain stability not just in Iraq, but also in Afghanistan.

In short a LOT of diplomatic work needs to be done, and it won’t work as long both sides agree to move on and forget about all the crap pass USA governments have pulled in there.
