    Default Iowa 2008

Both the Republican and Democrat caucuses in Iowa are starting off tonight.

The entrance polls started quite a while ago, but I haven't been able to find any results yet.

    Follow the coverage live here:

    Live coverage on CSPAN
    Live coverage on MSNBC

The Republican caucus is going to be much shorter due to its format, and the Democrat one also happens to have much higher turnout tonight so its the one that's somewhat more interesting this time.

I'm listening to CSPAN right now and the number of Ron Paul supports they've managed to scrounge up is absolutely hilarious.

Anyways, enjoy and post your thoughts.

    edit: Oh, something rather important:

    Live streaming results, Democrat
    Live streaming results, Republican

edit2: Republican link may be broken, here's another:

I wasn't surprised by the winners. They were talking about it on Hardball for like 23857928357 hours about Barrack and Huckabee. Seems like some people in the Republic party are screwed because of this.

^ And yeah I said the Republic party on purpose because the Republics shortened the Democratic party to the Democrats.

Looks like, according to the opinion polls, that its Barack Obama whos going to win Iowa. And Read that if Bill Richardsons doesn't acquire enough votes, he will suggest his electors to vote on Obama.

Don't know much about Obamas political view, but from what I've seen he seems like a good choice. *cough Though im not from the US :3 cough* Shh..

How is ST divided in politics anyways? who do you guys vote on..

Obama is supposed to place 1st according to most recent polls, but the precincts that have turned in so far aren't looking too good (check
Live streaming results, Democrat to see what I mean).

Ewww, Edwards. Please say he doesn't win anything. Also, that Republican page takes freaking forever to load.

Hey, even a small percentage of the population switching can be important. That's how the Liberal Party of Canada got such a weak leader. =P

Wow, Edwards has a significant lead in the small precincts (I assume that that's why they're over so soon).

At least Obama is dominating precinct 53 (CSPAN).

    booooooooooo clinton!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HILLARY!!

I will vote ANYONE BUT HILLARY!!!

Personally, I think I'd vote for Obama first cause he's Black and I want to see a different race besides a bunch of White guys as President.

If Hillary wins the nominee, then I'm sticking with the Republicans! I don't care which Republican it is AS LONG AS I DON'T VOTE HILLARY!!!

Yes, there really is NO logic behind my voting strategy.

Oh, trust me, there are Republicans who would be worse than Clinton. Huckabee, anyone? Giuliani? =P His entire campaign is based on his handling of 9/11...
