    Default Damn that Hannah Montana...

...making kids lie at such a tender age to win tickets to her show.

    Link.

Question is, do we blame the 6-year-old for writing the essay or her mother for condoning such lies?

We can blame the iraq-war for giving the girl a subject to lie about?

GARLAND, Texas (AP) -- An essay that won a 6-year-old girl four tickets to a Hannah Montana concert began with the powerful line: "My daddy died this year in Iraq."

A false essay won a 6-year-old girl four tickets to a sold-out Hannah Montana concert.

While gripping, it wasn't true -- and now the girl may lose her tickets after her mom acknowledged to contest organizers it was all a lie.
    lol!

I'm surprised the store did a background check though O_O.

Hey, at least she was bold enough to come up with it. I'd let her keep the tickets just because of that.

Why would the concert be sold out?
I wouldn't go even if you paid me.

    ^^

Her music are mostly about "following your dreams" so they're very parent-friendly in comparison to other songs these days (ex: "Gimme More").

Disney publicizes her so much it's hard not to notice her on the Disney Channel...

Her computer-generated voice isn't that impressive in my opinion. Unfortunately it has grabbed the hearts of thousands... including my roommate.

    *shudders*
