Thread: Do you know about anything about this manga site?

There are quite a lot of manga torrents on tokyo toshokan lately that link to this website manga.********.com , so I pay it a visit. Does anyone know anything about it at all? Seems like a Chinese website, and users may have to pay a premium for VIP membership or something like that...

It's been 7 hours and nothing's happened? Maybe it's Christmas already.

I was thinking about that when he first posted it but I think this thread falls into our little grey zone. He's not really technically asking about downloads he's asking for general information about a site that just so happens to have downloads. Weird.

never heard of it, the website looks pretty though, I guess that's important

not sure if this thread is legal or not as well... it's not against the rules for the reasons SD stated, and it's not a website advertisement either.

anyway, i went around the site a bit, and it looks like you need to download eRead software to read the files. if you click on a chapter, there's an option to download the eRead software (the middle button that says "eRead Reader Download"). i suppose you just click that and set it up, then download the chapters.

i don't know why you think it's in chinese (looks english to me). in any case, i can't guarantee that it'll work, since i haven't tried downloading and installing myself.

I'm just asking if anyone knows anything about that website, that's all. I visit tokyo toshokan on daily basis, and it's quite frustrating to me when some people are flooding with torrents with the eRead software in them. Ultimately, many of these torrents seem to come from the website I talked about.

What's this eRead thing anyhow. I've always used CDisplay to read my manga.

from i can tell, it's like CDisplay. i only used CDisplay and its file format once, then deleted it from my comp =\ i much prefer the standard winzip/winrar format, only 'cause it's pretty much the standard for scanlations (ie, i rather not download new software)

I LOVE CDisplay! You rarely have to unzip files, so you can store everything on your computer as the zipped version. SO much more convenient.
