Definately religion, politics isn't just about what party you support, for example a discussion on abortion is politics.
Religion is just "I believe it, that makes me right and you wrong."

    EDIT:
BTW, politics is not supposedly banned, only religion is.

None of it is taboo since we talk about those two all the time. Turn on tv and see that those two topics are what people talk about the most because people want to talk about it.

Instead of arguing my point (which often isn't well formed enough to argue) I tend to play the devil's advocate when such issues come up, which in my group of friends is almost never because most of us are too lazy, too laid back or to apathetic to bother
kinda like me. I don't like going into arguments so I never say anything that could cause one.

but if I have to pick one. I have to pick Religion. I know a lot of people who gets offended quickly if you say anything bad about their religion. I still believe suicide bombers should blow themselves up but in a secluded place where no else one will get hurt.

Not sure it counts but bad mouthing the military, and ANY topic where the speaker doesn't know what they're talking about. As you might imagine, I get irritated a lot. XD

I find religion most annoying. Talking with friends and such they are almost always atheists so when I meet a christian it sometimes feels like talking to a block of wood.

Politics are intriguing, but I easily get pissed since I (think I) am the only anarchist here. Back home I only hung out with anarchists and communists, so terms like liberals and republicans feel very alien to me.
