Default First UCLA and now UF?!

    and the video is here

This is not fair at all. Luckily with technology, we get to see the true story of the event instead of listening to lies made by those in power (cough police in this situation cough).

Okay, I think what's worse is an officer pulled out a gun. At least, that's what this video looks like

it's stupid. the police were to excessive and tasered him after cuffing him for something he has a right to do. this is america even if people think they were being rude or obnoxious he still is entitilted to what his own personal opinion. the fact that nobody did anything while five cops were pushing him and tasering him still pisses me off.

Since when was a taser supposed to be used on a person who is already down on the ground and helpless? Especially for 7 seconds... a short burst would be enough to put someone on the ground, but 7 seconds when you've already been pacified? The guy was begging them to not tase (is that the right word?) him, I'm sure by the point that he started begging he was willing to comply without problems.

    Sack them all.

Lousy video, the camera is drifting in all directions even before incident occurs, and once things begin to happen that becomes really bad.

Looks like even though he had his hands up to indicate "I surrender/I want no trouble" he was using his legs to push away from security to avoid being quietly removed from that room. Not a good idea.

Why is no one complaining about this? why are all of those students sitting there, doing nothing but looking? They could have defeated all of the corrupted officers and could have arrested them instead. 200 vs ~10?

i dont get those people who simply bow to politicans and the police like they are slaves or machines.

    Hell this is america.
The holy land where your civil rights are treaten with feets.

Unbelievable that this happened in an university while a speech discussion.

If this had happened here, everyone of the officers would get sued and undoubly fired immediately.
Besides... most people around here would help this guy out instead of standing around!

What ever you all think he resisted arrest, he assaluted the officers, he refused a peaceful confrontation and he tried to entice a riot.

He recived plenty of warrnings b4 hand about them using a taser if he did not stop yelling and kicking at the officers.

Plus that particular student is known for being the prankster on campus and told one of his friends to video tape it.

    Thats what I was thinking.

Plus if you're getting arrested for something, you should NEVER resist, isn't that obvious...? Even if you're entitled to say what you want, imo if they ask you to stop and leave then you should just leave.
