Thread: Guilty until proven inocent?

For thoses that aren't following it, here what is uterly messed up.

When the thing hit the fans, whe police came and throw at us, a name a picure.
But two hours later, they come back and say:

"Sorry that wasn't the guy, that guy is in Jacksonville, he has nothing to do, the new suspect is this!"
And give us a mug shot of another guy!

What's wrong with you people! I understand that everyone trips when a cop dies, but acusing everyone is not the way to go..

The worse is, that the guy they say is the suspect now, have two misdeminor charges for drunken disordely!!

C'mon, how can a guy jump from drunken disordely to 4 way manslaughter.

Is that problematic, come clean, and tell!
"We don't know the guy, we got this sketch, that it"

Imagine that the new guy is innocent, but he have one of thoses crazy rednecks as his neigbour, the guy bust down his door, kill him and then we discover that wasn't him.. that didn't do any good did it?

To me seems they are getting information from fortune cookies.

But they didn't they came straight with a ID of someone, then later corrected saying its another one, how can anyone be sure the new picture is the correct one?

The guy have two misdeminors on that area, there is no connection to him whatsoever other then he was drunk at some point in time at that area.

They just throwing names at us.

That's why I like the way we leave here - no weapons and no rednecks are allowed.

But seriously, it's been always like this - just a little prove could get you to prison...

well I guess thats true.......amazing that they still didn't capture him,how the smallest crimes sends you to prison while people like him get away with this shit

It would be a bad idea for you to just show sketches because thousands of people would call in to identify local people who look like the dude and a thousand pranksters to boot.
I do agree that they should have exercised more tact in their manhunt though. Accusing people based on tips received by people outside of the force without affirmation is a ridiculous idea. Police should know better, even with their limited capacities.

Easy...Killers arent born killers, its not like they are born with a deathsentence...Any guy can snap, some kill gotta be their first...not sayin that he did it, but still...

BUt im not surpriced over the way the cops work, the can do pretty much everything, and walk free..

Its not only the killing, theres also the burglary to boot. Its very hard (rare, but not impossible) for people to jump from a disorderly conduct which would be misdemeanor kind of punishment straight into a very prosecutable burglary and then manslaughter. They're just on completely different scales.
