I've met some hippies and, at least, the ones I've met are good people. Also, 85-90% of the people in this city throw their rubbish anywhere; so, whether hippies do it or not, that wouldn't be a trait different from that of mainstream behaviour.

No, I am implying that it is hypocritical in the extreme to push for enviromental causes, to publicly support said charities and speak out on television and other forms of media for them, then use a plane that uses as much as 100 trucks. Per trip. Or run a mansion that uses enough power to run a small town, and have the gall to talk about the shameless Americans destroying ozone layer.

P.S. - It is rare to see a 30 year old truck. I would say the low end is around 15 years, with a median of 8-10 years. And I would say about 12 miles.
